The assessment was carried out between 7 January 2026 and 2 February 2026. We undertook 2 visits at the home on 7 and 19 January. Earsdon Grange is care home providing residential and dementia care to older people. At the time of the inspection 44 people were living at the home. We carried out this assessment due to the length of time since the service was last inspected. The service provided a warm, clean and homely environment where people were safe and comfortable.

What residents and families say

People told us, “The care is brilliant,” and the staff are “fabulous.
People told us they felt safe and comfortable in the home with one person commenting “despite my worrying about the safety when I arrived, I needn’t have worried as I’m absolutely 100% safe” and how staff “listen and act to any concerns I have.
One person told us they had a “nice easy relationship with the staff who are interested in me, and my life.
